Commiserations to all those involved on Wednesday night, in the end it was not to be.

More importantly a very big thank you to those who made the effort over the past weeks since the NLD final, turned up to training and put the effort in. Especially those outside of the 1st team squad who often worked tirelessly in roles which often can only be described as cannon fodder.

In the end we're promoted and have the NLD trophy and therefore the season is a success. I for one can only rue what might have been.

We all know what is going to be required next year, every game will be harder and we can only improve as we need to if we are willing to put the effort in on a Tuesday and Thursday night.

But that is next year, pre-season starts first week in July, until then have a break, keep fit, work hard at the Solstice, but most of all regather the enthusiasm, the drive and the fight that we had at the start of this season so we can hit the ground running.

I look forward to working hard next season.
